1️⃣ AI anxiety: The workers who fear losing their jobs to artificial intelligence 🔥 Are you ready for hungry days?

Feeling a bit nervous about AI taking over your career?

You're right to be worried, but the good news is that you're not alone!

As AI continues to make strides, some individuals, like Claire, a London-based PR professional, are starting to fret about the future of their careers. Perhaps you will be hungry, Claire. Who needs a PR professional when you can create PR content that is 10 times better than Claire's and 100 times faster than her agency? With reports showing AI replacing millions of jobs, it's no wonder people are getting antsy.

But hey, it's not all doom and gloom!

AI experts suggest that employees should learn to work with AI instead of fearing it. After all, it's not an enemy.

It's your savior, your companion, your buddy.

This isn’t the first time we have encountered industry disruptions – from automation and manufacturing to e-commerce and retail – we have found ways to adapt

– Scott Likens, Innovation Hub / Trust Technology Leader

To help calm those nerves, remember that we have adapted to industry disruptions before. Also, don't forget that these are the most exciting times of all.

Why? Because you and I are probably the first generation who will find cures for all sicknesses, maybe even immortality, and many other realities that sounded like science fiction just a few years ago.

Worried about robots taking over completely?

Relax! Research shows that our fears might be a bit exaggerated.

While I enjoyed reading BBC's article, I couldn't help but notice one of the worst reviews about AI that was included:

"As Stefanie Coleman from EY's people advisory services says, humans will always have a role in business, providing qualities like creativity and emotional intelligence."

It seems to me that Stefanie may have a superiority complex and may be a bit of a boomer. In reality, AutoAgents have already proven that AI can easily replace humans in nearly every industry. It's all just 0s and 1s.

However, this doesn't mean that humans will become irrelevant. In fact, humans will play a critical role in teaching and guiding AI systems. If you are not excited about Collaborative Intelligence, harsh times await you.

By embracing the evolution of AI and preparing for the revolution, we can unlock incredible new opportunities. Take Claire, for example, who was mentioned in the article. She is learning to code and discovering that getting to know AI better can make it less scary and even lead to new possibilities.

2️⃣ AI Transformations 🌱 Salesforce's Workflow Tools & Atlassian's Virtual Teammate

💡 Salesforce: Generative AI-driven Workflow Tools

Salesforce is working on a pair of new generative AI-driven workflow tools, according to Liam Doyle, SVP and GM for MuleSoft Automation.

Combining Data Cloud, Einstein GPT, and Flow, Salesforce aims to create a seamless end-to-end stack for businesses. The company is developing two new tools—Einstein GPT for Flow and Data Cloud for Flow—with early design customers.

The beta release is expected in June, so keep your eyes peeled for these game-changing tools!

🚀 Atlassian: AI Assistant for Jira and Confluence

Atlassian has launched Atlassian Intelligence, an AI-driven "virtual teammate" for Jira and Confluence.

Using the company's models and OpenAI's large language models, Atlassian Intelligence creates custom teamwork graphs and enables features like AI-generated summaries in Confluence and test plans in Jira Software.

The new tool can also translate natural language queries into Jira Query Language, opening up new possibilities for users.

3️⃣  Japan and UK💡The Rational Faces of the Modern World

Yokosuka Embraces ChatGPT for Administrative Tasks

Yokosuka, a city in Japan's Kanagawa Prefecture, has become the first municipality in the country to adopt ChatGPT for administrative work. It will be used by around 4,000 municipal employees during a one-month trial to streamline operations.

Tasks include summarization, copy ideation for marketing and communications, and drafting administrative documents. Yokosuka's adoption of ChatGPT follows OpenAI CEO Sam Altman's visit to Japan and his meeting with Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.

Yesterday, we have cover that Japan is testing AI lawmakers.

UK Chancellor Dismisses AI Job Loss Fears, Encourages AI Development

Chancellor Jeremy Hunt has urged the UK to go "full steam ahead" in cultivating artificial intelligence (AI), dismissing recent concerns raised by Elon Musk about the potential impact on jobs.

Speaking at a POLITICO Tech UK event, Hunt highlighted AI's potential to make a significant contribution to the UK economy, boosting productivity and creating new opportunities. Hunt emphasized the importance of the West "winning the race" to set global standards for AI, ensuring its ethical use and regulation.

4️⃣ Disrupt the Education 🏫 The End of Middle Age

While concerns regarding AI tools like ChatGPT in educational settings are valid, it is essential to explore their potential benefits when used responsibly.

Brett Vogelsinger, a ninth-grade English teacher, has discovered a way to use ChatGPT for the benefit of his students. By color-coding sections written by the student and those generated by ChatGPT, Vogelsinger helps students pick and choose sentences from the AI to expand upon. This collaborative approach has helped some students focus their ideas and get started on their writing assignments.

Teaching students to write without AI's help is still essential, as writing serves as an excellent way to demonstrate thinking. However, once students have learned the basics, they could use AI tools to assist them in drafting and refining their work.

By embracing the potential of AI in education, we can foster a collaborative environment that enhances learning and skill development.

5️⃣ Pharma Bro, The Most Hated Man ❤️ Dr. Gupta AI is Live

Once upon a time, in the world of healthcare, there lived a notorious figure named Martin Shkreli, the infamous "pharma bro."

He's back, and this time, he's brought an AI-powered doctor, Dr. Gupta!

Though Martin has a pretty tainted reputation, his new project has the potential to change healthcare forever. While technology has made most things cheaper, healthcare costs remain sky-high, and access to quality doctors can be limited. That's where Dr. Gupta comes in.

GPT-4, the AI behind Dr. Gupta, scored an impressive 86.6 on the US Medical Licensing exam (just shy of the 90 average physician score). Shkreli and his team aim to provide everyone with a free, pocket-sized doctor through this AI chatbot.

But why is Martin Shkreli so despised? Well, he's the guy who hiked the price of a life-saving drug by 4,000%, blocking generic alternatives to maintain profits. IMHO, his drug, his price… He also explains why’s on the last episode of My First Million Podcast.

Now, Shkreli is using AI to tackle healthcare costs, which some might see as ironic.

Why did the AI break up with its girlfriend? She kept trying to debug its code.(thx GPT-4)
